Sceadu Tail Servo Mount Installation
Instructions
- Assemble the transfer
horn as per assembly diagram above and install on servo plate. (Use a small
amount of Loctite when installing flange bearings and ball ends into horn.)
- Remove the 4 Philips head
screws (Hirobo Part) that secure the tail boom between the main frames.
Replace with the supplied 3X40mm cap head screws and 3mm nuts (not supplied,
Hirobo Part).
- Mount the servo plate
assembly onto the main frame by using 1/8” spacers (4) over 3X40mm button
head screws followed by servo plate and 3mm lock nuts.
- Mount the servo. The top
side of the servo mounts to the plate on the same side as transfer horn.
(The top of servo case extends through the servo plate.
- Install the servo horn
with link ball (not supplied) onto the servo. Assemble the ball links onto
the 40mm pushrod and install onto servo and transfer arm.
- Adjust linkage and gyro
as per normal boom mount installation.
